Hi I’m Carol Drovl, I’m the liturgy coordinator at Saint James Catholic Church in Omaha Nebraska. We had Sound Mission Ministries come here to our church and they gave a concert for our parishioners and Chris Muglia also sand at our Sunday liturgies (Our Saturday night and Sunday liturgies). As liturgist here it was a wonderful experience. All of our musicians that Chris joined for our Saturday and Sunday liturgies have already responded to me (and it’s just been a few days) telling me how wonderful it was to work with him. How wonderful it was to be with a composer but also someone who truly appreciated music ministry and how we are to minister to our parish through the gift of music and that we are part of the assembly and the congregation and not just performing. Our parish responded and we had one of the biggest turn outs we’ve ever had for any kind of event like this. I have received tons of feedback telling me how much they appreciated the family friendly, his stories, the music was wonderful, the jokes, the friendly atmosphere, the fact that children were easily welcomed. It seemed like from birth to 85 years old enjoyed the concert and Sound Mission Ministries message.

My name is Fr. Charlie Samperi and I am pastor of Saint James The Apostle Church in Spring, Texas. I’ve been pastor here for 7 years and over that period we’ve had different missions come in. Most of them unfortunately have seemed to be lacking, we’ve never had a very good response. With Sound Mission, we’ve had the largest group we’ve had. The parish has responded, they’ve come out and it’s unbelievable to see my parishioners (who are usually very quite) stand up, clap, sing and get excited about their Catholicism. I would like to say what a wonderful opportunity that we had by having Sound Mission Ministries come to our parish. We were looking for an opportunity to gather the families of our parish together, and Sound Mission Ministries put that all together so nicely. From our very first contact with them they were professional, thorough, they were God-filled people . . . you could feel the love that they have in their ministry and they share that love of Christ with others. I am thankful for having them come. The feeling from the parishioners, the great feedback that we got instantly after the event was really heartwarming, and as the parents and the families left last night, the buzz in the courtyard was incredible and I cannot recommend them enough.

We had a very wonderful experience with them in our parish these last few days. Chris ministered to our teen group the other night and brought a lot of life and inspiration into that group and also this concert tonight that we just experienced, so many people came up to me and said how wonderful it was, and indeed it was. We needed that here at St. Clare.

We need that periodically to have the spirit touch us in so many different ways. So I would recommend Chris and his ministry. They travel all across the country and provide services to all kinds to Catholic institutions, schools, they do retreats, and they do parish missions. Their work truly is inspired by the Lord. I'm excited about Sound Mission Ministries. Chris and Denise have done a fantastic job for us and they really give everything, all of their heart and soul to that ministry and you can sense it in the kids just absolutely adore what they do and we're going to have them back because it was a wild success for us and it really gave a lot of energy to a group of young people who in our diocese are the minorities as Catholics and often times face those struggles that maybe in a highly Catholic area other Catholic youth don't and a lot of the kids from small areas.

Hi my name is Kristina Davis, I am the youth director here at Christ the King Catholic Church in the Diocese of St. Augustine. Now I got to tell you about Sound Mission Ministries, they came to our parish and not only put our teens on fire, they took our "Music for Life" ministry and put them on fire and then came and put our entire parish on fire for Christ.

Our church recently had Sound Mission Ministries come out to our church and it has been a great blessing.

Chris, not only is he a great musician but he is a shining example of a strong Christian man in a world today. The concert last night was amazing and on a couple of different levels. Number one: just because no matter what age you are there's something for you here, you're going to have a great time, you're going to be engaged whether you're a kid, teenager or an adult there's something for you. Not only that, but the night just really revealed the mission of Sound Mission which is to have a night where people can come and have an encounter with Jesus Christ.

The ministry has blessed us here so much at Our Lady of the Assumption and hope that it will bless you just as much as it has blessed us.
